City facilities have been closed to the public effective March 18, 2020. The City remains committed to serving our residents and members of the public. Staff will continue to provide essential services via phone, email or online. Dependent on your request, City Clerk staff will make every effort to provide services electronically.
You may register to vote in Los Angeles County if you meet all the following requirements:
You are a citizen of the United States;
You are at least 18 years of age (or will be by the date of the next election);
You are not in prison or on parole for a conviction of a felony;
You have not been judged by a court to be mentally incompetent.

If you are a new voter or have recently changed address, name or political party affiliation, you may register online, in person or by mail.
Voter registration forms in Spanish and Chinese are available at the City Clerk's Office. A complete set of multilingual registration forms is available through the California Secretary of State website.
Please note that you must be registered at least 15 days prior to an election in which you intend to vote.
