There's something for everyone at the 25th Annual Classic Car Show The event, features live music, artisan vendors, family-friendly activities and a Classic Car Show. Look for entry forms to become a craft vendor or Car Show participant in May.
It’s no trick—you can expect lots of treats at the Halloween Carnival! The family-oriented event is held annually at Live Oak Park and offers a fun and safe way to celebrate the holiday with games and prizes.
Veteran's Day Celebration
Honor our local heroes with a celebration that includes the Posting of Colors, keynote speakers, live entertainment and a vintage aircraft flyover.
Lights on Temple CityBundle up and enjoy hot cocoa, candy canes and the magic of the holidays. Once a year, Temple City is transformed into a winter wonderland with tons of snow, festive entertainment and family-friendly activities. Ol' Saint Nick makes an annual appearance at the parade, sledding down Las Tunas Drive toward the grand lighting of the 100-foot redwood tree at Temple City Park.
The Parks and Recreation Department regrets to inform the community that the 2022 in-person Lunar Near Year Celebration in Temple City is cancelled due to public health and safety concerns. Lunar New Year Celebration
Dim Sum & TeaCome one, come all to this free event celebrating the Chinese New Year! Enjoy live entertainment, food, and tea. Located at the Live Oak Park Picnic Shelter. Check the City's Calendar for date and time.
This steeped Temple City tradition—older than the City itself—has been celebrating and promoting youth participation in the community since 1944. The event is typically held on the last weekend in February, and includes the crowning of local first-graders as Camellia Queen and King, a parade showcasing handmade camellia-flower floats, and a three-day carnival that takes over Temple City Park.
Arbor DayAs a proud Tree City USA, Temple City hosts the annual Arbor Day Celebration to teach youth the importance and and value of protecting the local urban forest. Highlights include cherry-picker rides soaring over Temple City's tree canopies, fun and educational activities, and tree plantings at Temple City and Live Oak parks.
Temple City's Got TalentShow your talent to the world, starting with Temple City! Whether it's dance, martial arts, singing, or something completely unique this is an all ages talent showcase and fun for the entire family. Admission is $5. The fun family event will take place at the Community Center at Live Oak Park.
Easter Egg Hunt & Pancake BreakfastEnjoy a delicious pancake breakfast, face painting, and pictures with the Easter Bunny at Live Oak Park! Children ages 1-9 can also participate in the Easter Egg Hunt for candy and prizes.
Concerts in the ParkUnfold your lawn chairs, lay out your blankets and enjoy the sweet sounds of summer. From Classic Rock and Oldies to Country, the Concerts in the Park series shakes it up with familiar tunes and funky beats. Performances are held Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. from mid-June to mid-August in Temple City Park. Arrive early to save your lawn seating space.
Join us for a unique family campout experience under the stars every! Every July, Camp-A-Palooza takes over Live Oak Park for a fun-filled night of live entertainment, adventurous games and fun activities for all ages! Registration begins in June and includes a space reservation, dinner, entertainment and continental breakfast.
