Citizens Academy is the City's premiere civic education program, designed to familiarize participants with local government functions and operations.
The Academy is offered once a year and features seven interactive discussions with top staff to introduce various topics ranging from City finances and planning, to parks and recreation and economic development.

Applications for the 2016 class are currently being accepted! Four sessions will run every Thursday from Jan. 14 through Feb. 4. Classes are held in the evening generally from 7-9 p.m. Apply today!
