Event to feature breakfast, 4,000 eggs and visits with the Easter Bunny.
TEMPLE CITY, CA (Feb. 21, 2018)—Get ready to greet the Easter Bunny when he stops by Temple City’s annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31 at Live Oak Park.
The event brings together all members of the community for a fun, family-friendly morning that will be sure to create as much excitement for adults as it will for the kids.
“We’ve been hosting this event for many years, and it is one of our favorites,” said Cathy Burroughs, the city’s parks and recreation director. “The kids love all the activities—and a chance to see the Easter Bunny—while their parents and others enjoy coming together for one morning.”
A pancake breakfast will kick off the event at 8:30 a.m. The breakfast, served through 11 a.m. at a cost of $2 per child and $3 per adult, will include sausage, eggs, coffee, milk and juice.
Meanwhile, more than 4,000 eggs will be scattered across Live Oak Park for three different age-based egg hunts. The first one, for children ages 1-5 (with a special area for toddlers and parents), will open at 9:45 a.m., followed by another hunt for those ages 6-7 at 10:15 a.m. The last hunt will begin at 10:45 a.m. for those ages 8-9. Don’t forget your Easter basket!
Other children’s activities include arts and crafts, as well as a visit and free photo with the Easter Bunny.
“Show up and have a good time,” Burroughs said.
