General Municipal Election
City facilities have been closed to the public effective March 18, 2020. The City remains committed to serving our residents and members of the public. Staff will continue to provide essential services via phone, email or online. Dependent on your request, City Clerk staff will make every effort to provide services electronically.
The City's next General Municipal Election will be held on March 8, 2022 (Reso. No. 21-5553) for 2 Councilmember seats. The term of office will begin March 8, 2022 and end on March 3, 2026.

Becoming a Candidate
Those interested in becoming a candidate for the March 8, 2022 election must file nomination papers with the City Clerk during the nomination period.
Please review AB 571 before making, soliciting or receiving contributions for candidacy for City of Temple City City Council. Maximum allowable campaign contribution limits are adjusted biennially, beginning June 2019 (next update June 2021). Campaign limits are set by state statue.
