Summer Sports Clinic 

Develop skills on all levels as player and stay active during the summer. The Summer Sports Clinic will be coached by recreation staff and is designed to introduce players to a variety of sports.  Players of all levels will improve their skills while learning the fundamentals of each sport. Coaches will encourage good sportsmanship in a non-competitive environment. 

Mini Division

The Mini Division will introduce your players ages 3.5-7 to Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball. All players will be introduced to the fundamentals of the sports while building athletic skills, learning sportsmanship, and making new friends.  This program will operate from Monday through Thursday and all players are welcome. 

Session I June 14 – July 15 (5 Weeks)

  •  3 ½ - 5 years old Monday -Thursday 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. 
  • 6 - 7 years old Monday- Thursday 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Session II July 19- August 19 (5 Weeks) 

  • 3 ½ - 5 years old Monday -Thursday 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • 6 - 7 years old Monday- Thursday 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Youth Division

The Youth Division is designed for ages 8-13 and will focus on Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball. The clinic will emphasize technique, footwork, and becoming a balanced player. Recreation Staff will coach players and introduce offensive/defensive drills, help to develop foot and eye coordination, strength, and overall physical fitness. All levels welcomed. This program will operate from Monday through Thursday.  

Session I June 14 – July 15 (5 Weeks)

  • 8 - 10 years old Monday- Thursday 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • 11 - 13 years old Monday- Thursday 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Session II July 19- August 19 (5 Weeks)

  • 8 - 10 years old Monday- Thursday 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • 11 - 13 years old Monday- Thursday 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.


Registration opens Monday, May 24 and closes on Wednesday, June 9 at noontime for Session I.


Registration opens Monday, May 24 and closes on Monday, July 12 at noontime for Session II.

*State and County health and safety guidelines will be followed*

Safety Guidelines:

  • Upon arrival staff/participants will receive a daily health screening and temperature check.
  • Safety protocols are in place, following guidelines recommended by the California Department of Public Health and Los Angeles County Health Department, and the Centers for Disease Control.
  • Program follows recommended ratio of 10 participants with 1 staff.
  • Staff will wear masks and maintain social distance.
  • Depending on current guidelines, masks may be required by participants.
  • All equipment will be sanitized at the during water breaks and at the end of each day.

Parents will be sent a Sports Summer Clinics manual one week before the program starts. Additionally, parents are strongly encouraged to attend a Parent Orientation meeting on Wednesday, June 9th at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom.
